Geriatric Services, P.C. is a third-party provider of healthcare services to long-term and rehabilitative care facilities. Nursing homes and other long-term care facilities are required by Federal and State regulations to maintain a medical director and provide for consistent in-house medical care of their residents. These services may be provided directly by the facility’s employed staff of physicians, by community-based physicians or may be contracted out to a third party like Geriatric Services, P.C. Geriatric Services, P.C. provides professional full-time medical staffing within a facility to work under the facility’s own medical director, generating standard fees directly chargeable to the resident and his/her medical insurance provider. Geriatric Services, P.C. also will provide a medical director to long-term and rehabilitative care facilities on a contractual basis, thereby assuming all medical care responsibilities for the facility and further reducing the facility’s risk exposure.
